On Oct. 16, at approximately 12 a.m., an individual broke into a window on the second floor of the Grand Rapids Community College’s Sneden campus and shattered glass in two of the vending machines and stole all of the product inside. The damages to both vending and the broken window is at an estimated $600.
This is the third time campus vending machines have been vandalized within the last year. The first occurrence happened sometime between 10:30 p.m. June 6 and 12 a.m. June 7. There were no signs of forced entry and it is possible that a door was propped open. The second occurrence was on July 10 between the hours of 12 a.m. – 7 a.m. where a glass door at Sneden was broken into.
