The Bragg, Harvard, Muhammad Smith “Why We Can’t Wait” Fund is still accepting applications for the $3,000 inaugural Grand Rapids Community College Student Scholarship. This scholarship will go into effect in the 2018 winter semester.
The scholarship is for students studying public service careers including criminal justice, health-care and education. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, so it needs to be submitted immediately.
To be eligible for this scholarship, non-GRCC Police Academy applicants need to have 12 credit hours and a 3.0 cumulative GPA. GRCC Police Academy students must also be currently enrolled in the academy.
