The 20th annual Grand Rapids Women’s Expo will be returning to Grand Rapids on March 9-11 at the DeVos Place.

According to the Women’s Expo press release, the weekend expo was created to inspire women to learn more about personal health, home and style.

This year will feature over 300 women-owned and women-focused businesses and is the largest single consumer event for women in West Michigan.

“From shopping to fashion to vacations, this year’s show really does promise to have everything the West Michigan woman wants,” stated Pam Glass, President of Kohler Expos, Inc. in the press release. “The very best from around our state will be on hand, providing demonstrations, food samples and live experiences.

The GR Women’s Expo will be partnering with Hand2Hand, a non-profit organization that provides non-perishable foods and snacks to West Michigan children who are at risk of going hungry during the weekend. Hand2Hand was established in 2008 and was only able to feed 19 children in one school. Fast forward a decade and now over 4,300 children from over 140 schools are being fed by Hand2Hand.

Expo attendees will have the opportunity to donate to Hand2Hand at the entrance of the Expo.

According to the press release, Hand2Hand will accept granola bars, fruit cups, trail mix packets, oatmeal packet and oatmeal and peanut butter cracker packets. To donate to Hand2Hand, visit their donation page.

To celebrate the Women’s Expo’s 20th year, Capital Region International Airport in Lansing will be giving away a $500 travel voucher that attendees can enter to win throughout the weekend.

The expo will also hand out tote bags and books, courtesy of Oola Women, to the first 200 women to enter each day of the expo.

Attendees will also have a chance to pamper themselves at the expo’s onsite massages and hairstyling stations.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 6 to 14.

The expo will open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fri., March 9 and Sat., March 10, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sun., March 11.
