Drama is happening for the soon-to-be royal Meghan Markle as her father is in the hospital following successful heart surgery on Wednesday morning.
After days of speculation, Kensington Palace released a statement from Markle confirming her father’s absence from the wedding.
“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health,” the statement reads.
Her father was in the hospital last week for a heart attack. Many are speculating that the heart attack could have been from the nasty letter his son, Thomas Junior, wrote to Prince Harry warning him not to marry Markle.
Shortly after his heart attack, he checked himself out of the hospital in hopes of attending the wedding against medical advice. During that time he reportedly took staged photographs with paparazzi of him doing things like trying on his tux, reading a book about Britain, reading about his daughter’s wedding at an internet cafe and working out on the beach.

He checked himself back into the hospital after having chest pains, and underwent surgery to clear a blockage shortly after. His surgery was successful, but he will be recovering during this Saturday’s wedding.

Hilary Duff is taking names
The “Lizzie McGuire” actress took to Instagram Wednesday to publicly blast her neighbor Dieter Addison.
“Calling all New Yorkers with asshole neighbors—really open to any advice you have,” the “Younger” star said via her Instagram Stories. “My neighbor smokes cigarettes and weed all night long. My apartment reeks. Seriously, what do I do?”
Duff didn’t stop there, but continued to talk about her frustrations in a series of Instagrams.
“Worked 15 hours yesterday and back at work again at 5:30 a.m.,” she wrote on Instagram. “This is the real world Dieter the [eggplant emoji]. Your smoking ain’t delicious.”
Then, get this, she found HIS INSTAGRAM and posted it! Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up. The ‘Gram was private so she blew up his profile picture and started to draw cat ears and whiskers over it.
“Meowww Dieter meowww,” she said in an Instagram video.
Honestly, this is so iconic I don’t have words.
Things did take a turn for the worse when Addison called the police after a scuffle with Duff’s boyfriend, Matthew Koma.
“I had to call the police this morning because Hilary’s boyfriend, Matthew Koma, barged in and tried to punch me in the face,” Addison said to Page Six. “I tried to avoid his fist, but he hit me on the head. So I pushed him out of the apartment, but I didn’t assault him.”
Addison later filed a full report with the NYPD after they took down his complaint at the scene.
A rep for Matthew Koma told Page Six, “These allegations are untrue.”
When asked for a comment, Duff’s representative declined to comment on the alleged incident, but did give a statement explaining their frustration with the neighbor.
“Hilary and her young son have been subjected to excessive secondhand smoke, late night noise, garbage in the hallways, and an overall hazardous living environment from this man for months now,” her reps said. “She tried numerous times in polite ways to handle this situation including countless sessions with the landlords of the building. As every mother knows, protecting your kid has to come first and foremost and that is her primary goal. She reached a breaking point after a 15-hour work day and yet another sleepless night.”
Even after all of that, she has her reps throwing a forest of shade.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcome baby No. 2!

Chrissy Teigen announced her little one’s arrival on Wednesday in a tweet.
“Somebody’s herrrrrrre!” she tweeted, followed by smiley and baby bottle emojis.
Their little boy joins the power couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Luna Simone Stephens.
Teigen first announced her pregnancy last November with a video of little Luna pointing to her belly and exclaiming “Baby!” Legend later explained to E! News on a red carpet in January that their toddler hadn’t quite grasped what it means to be a big sister yet.
“We know there’s a baby in there and she can say ‘baby’ but I don’t really know if she knows what it means for her mother to be carrying another child and for that child to be her little sibling,” the singer-songwriter explained. “I don’t know if she’s ready for that yet.”
The couple has been really open about their struggles with fertility, and this little guy was created by a frozen embryo transfer.
They originally started with 20 embryos, three of which were deemed normal after being genetically tested and whose sexes were revealed as part of the testing. “The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna,” she revealed to “InStyle”, which left them with one final male embryo.
This is truly a magical week of miracles and love. I am a pile of mush please nobody touch me.
