Looking for free food and prizes while connecting with your peers at Grand Rapids Community College? Attend this year’s Raider Rally before the fall semester commences.

Volunteers are needed to help organize the event. These volunteers should arrive by 9:30 a.m. to help prepare for the rally, where they will later greet, direct, and check-in students, hand out goodies, and anything else that may be of help to rally organizers.

Students can expect the following at the rally:

  • Learn about clubs at GRCC and student life
  • Tour campus
  • Pick up RaiderCard
  • Visit GRCC bookstore
  • Assistance with Online Center and Blackboard accounts
  • Free computer diagnostics and the option to purchase gently used computers at a very low price

Parking will be free for attendees in the Bostwick parking ramp. Any Raider, current or upcoming, will receive a free t-shirt, food, and the chance to win prizes. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Juan R. Olivarez Student Plaza.

As a reminder, students and faculty who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask on campus at this current time.

Individuals that would like to volunteer for the rally can sign up here. Although it is not required, students are highly encouraged to RSVP.
