A Cultural Festival presented by the International Language Club will take place on Wednesday, April 13 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m. at GRCC’s Ford Fieldhouse arena.

What kind of souvenirs can you bring home from a loop of eight cultures?
您可以从八种文化中带回家什么样的纪念品呢?,” asks Amanda Seeley, in both Mandarin and English.
Seeley is a GRCC student, Asian Student Organization President, and International Language Club’s Cultural Festival member. The International Language Club invites all GRCC students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend this event.
Note, that there has been a change in the event location and will no longer be held at the Raider Grill but now at the Ford Fieldhouse Arena. The event perks include free food, dance, music, games, and more. Representing several cultures, countries, various languages, and a student travel abroad/study away booth. Event organizers have budgeted to spend $5,000 on this event, so there will be a lot for students to enjoy.
“Come experience a colorful cultural festival“ exclaimed Poojitha Poduguru, International Language Club President and coordinator of this event. “We will be having cultural foods, some even shipped in from overseas in order to present the cultures with authenticity. We plan to present cultural demonstrations from America, India, and potentially more.”
Feel free to RSVP for this event. Attendees can visit the showcases, booths, and join in on the cultural festivities. As the event poster spells out, “come experience our campus community’s roots without leaving town.”
