University of Michigan transfer representatives will be at GRCC Jan. 26 to guide application candidates

Representatives from the University of Michigan will be hosting an applications coaching workshop intended to provide transfer information to the college as well as essay feedback. This workshop will be on Thursday Jan 26 in room 210 of the RJF building from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be an opportunity to ask questions regarding paid summer programs such as the Community College Summer Fellowship Program (CCSFP) and the Great Lakes Arts, Cultures, and Environments (GLACE)

Additionally, a recruitment table is going to be set up on Wednesday, Jan 25 on the 4th floor of the RJF building from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Morgan Gavorek, a Transfer Student Recruiting Coordinator and Deidre Mitchel, a Transfer Student Ambassador who previously completed the CCSFP, will be there to answer questions. Students interested in admission applications and essay guidance can also sign up for a session to meet with Kimmy Trong, from the U of M Opportunity Hub which is the college’s career exploration center. To access and request a session click here. Any and all applicants who have submitted an application for the Spring/Fall of 2023 or have any questions regarding transferring are welcomed to attend.
