MI Bridges is hosting an event at Grand Rapids Community College on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 1 to 4 p.m.. The event will be held at the Applied Technology Center (ATC) in Room 213.
The purpose of this event is to help students enroll in state benefit programs like: SNAP/Food assistance, WIC (Women, Infants & Children), CDC (Child Development and Care), healthcare coverage and more. There will be GRCC staff on hand to help with the college documentation aspect of filling. Computer access, snacks, and parking passes will be provided.
Future identical events will occur on Thursday, Aug. 31, 1-4 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1-4 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 24, 1-4 p.m. at the same location. In Ender Hall, first floor Thursday, May 18, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. will host another event. Finally, an event will be held at the GRCC Lakeshore Campus on Thursday, May 25, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
