With a high of 14 degrees and a low of 5, Grand Rapid Community College students and staff received another notification that the campus will be closed on Monday, Jan 11, the third cancelation this week.
According to the National Weather Service, some areas in Grand Rapids received around 13 inches of snow with wind speeds reaching up to 35 mph. Due to the extreme change of weather, temperatures have dropped into the single digits for the next couple of days.
All classes and events will be canceled or postponed except for the Martin Luther King Jr. event at Fountain Street Church which is hosted by Grand Valley State University and Davenport University in conjunction with GRCC GRCC’s theater department also pushed the play Macb!tches to Thursday, Jan. 18, and Saturday, Jan. 20.
Monday’s Student Government meeting has been postponed until Jan. 29.
