Using hand-carved linoleum blocks and a press, students can create unique patches on April 17. As we inch closer to the end of the semester, the pressure to prepare for exams can be stressful.

Adjunct journalism professor, founder of CraftSanity and arts & craft enthusiast, Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood, for a quick and fun printmaking activity.

“The whole idea of this is to give students a break from cramming for final exams and give them something fun to try,” said Ackerman-Haywood.

The workshop will take place at the Library and Learning Commons on April 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students can create patches that can be worn on backpacks, jackets, and jeans, and come in a variety of colors. This event is a drop-in, convenient for those on the go.
