Well geeks and nerds it’s that time again, Comic-Con season is upon us and it is already shaping up to be interesting to say the very least.
The Grand Rapids Comic-Con, which will take place from Nov. 15-17 at the Devos Place, will feature multiple guests. Among them are Walter Koenig, known for playing Pavel Chekov in the “Star Trek” franchise and Alfred Bester in “Babylon 5.” Denise Crosby, known for playing Lieutenant Tasha Yar in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and her daughter, Sela, will also be in attendance. Danny Trejo, known for roles in numerous works, namely the “Machete” franchise, will also appear at Comic-Con. Also attending will be Dee Wallace, known for roles in films such as “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” but also roles in “The Hills Have Eyes,” “The Howling,” “Critters” and “The Lords of Salem.” Heather Langenkamp, known for playing Nancy Thompson in the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” franchise will also appear.
Numerous voice actors, including Khary Payton, known for voicing Cyborg in “Teen Titans” and “Teen Titans Go!” Phil Lamarr, known for voicing John Stewart/ Green Lantern in “Justice League” and “Justice League Unlimited” will also be there. Voice actors from the English dub of “My Hero Academia” such as Ian Sinclair, known for voicing the likes of Mezo Shoji will also be there, as will Clifford Chapin known for voicing Katsuki Bakugo, Brittney Karbowski, known for voicing Camie Utsushimi and Lindsay Seidel known for voicing Nejire Hado.
But there is more to do as well than simply get autographs. There will be a board game library, tabletop roleplaying, escape rooms, electronic games, artists, vendors and much more to look forward to.
The con will run on Friday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 1 a.m. too 5 p.m. on Sunday.
