As wildfires ravage through California and communities are falling to the flames, spirits are low. During this time of loss, a partnership between the Azoff family, Live Nation and the LA Clippers is bringing music and community to Los Angeles on Jan. 30.
This partnership is bringing 18 world-famous singers to the stages in the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum at 10:30 p.m. Singers from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Earth, Wind & Fire to Billie Eilish and Katy Perry will be performing to raise money to rebuild communities that were lost to the wildfires. The benefit concert will be streamed live on many platforms such as MAX, Spotify and TikTok.
Donations to the organization are welcome and encouraged.
According to the FireAid Benefit Concert website, “Contributions made to FireAid in connection with the FireAid benefit concert and other direct donations will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California.”
The money raised through tickets to the concert and purchased merchandise will be distributed with direct donations. FireAid merchandise, created by artist Yoshitomo Nara, can be ordered through the benefit’s website. The website also mentions that this merchandise will “have a lasting impact on the L.A. community.”
Merchandise and the donation section can be found on the concert benefit’s website.
