At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, there will be an “All Eyes on Gaza: Rise Up Against Genocide” emergency rally at Rosa Parks Circle, organized by Palestine Solidarity Grand Rapids.
The rally has been planned as a result of the high number of deaths in Gaza in the last couple of days. The organization states in an Instagram post that “hundreds of people have been murdered in a matter of days as the colonial project Israel attempts to execute and exterminate the brave people of Gaza.
The organization urges those who plan to attend to bring signs, noise makers and flags. They also say to wear your keffiyehs in support.
Those who wish to attend are encouraged to show up at Rosa Parks Circle at 6 p.m. or earlier, and be prepared to get loud in support of the people of Gaza.
