On Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15, the Academic Advising and Transfer Center will be hosting a Health and Exercise Science Pop-Up event.

During the event, students will get the opportunity to talk with advisers, register for classes for the fall semester, and have an opportunity to grab a snack.

The event will be held in the Ford Fieldhouse Main Lobby on Tuesday from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. On Wednesday, the event will be held in the Rec Center’s Main Lobby from 10 a.m to 12 p.m.

“Students can expect to have any questions answered and to hopefully leave with a schedule of classes for the next academic year,” Jodie Gee, an Exercise Science Professor, said.

All students need to do is show up. A laptop cart will also be reserved for students to use if they need a laptop. Additionally, there will be breakout presentations about careers in exercise science and allied health.

The Tuesday breakout presentation is from 10:15 a.m to 10:45 a.m in room 213, and the Wednesday breakout presentation will be from 11:15 a.m to 11:45 a.m also in room 213 in Ford Fieldhouse.

“Drop in to the event when it is convenient for (and) get some food if there is a wait, and pick classes with an adviser,” Gee said.
