As the semester comes to a close, students at Grand Rapids Community College focus on acing (or surviving) finals week, decorating graduation caps, or simply planning for what’s next. There are a total of seven events happening on campus this week, and one will be located at the Van Andel Arena, where the class of 2026 will line up wearing blue and gold to celebrate their academic success. Read on to find free food and friends on campus in the upcoming week:

Monday, April 27:

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Campus Bookstore is holding “Fall Finals De-Stress in the Bookstore” on the first floor of the Student Center. Students are invited to drop by any time on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday to paint a pot and plant a flower. For students without the knack for plant care, there will be stones to paint as well. This event is free and happening until they run out of supplies.
