The Grand Rapids Community College Business Department has a new informal weekly series lead by a business faculty member to discuss topics that are beneficial to the students.
This new business discussion series not only helps business related graduates be prepared to transfer or graduate, it also gets the students and faculty a chance to network. Some topics include marketing, business careers, accounting office administration, and marketing retail. Also discussed are current jobs that are available and the pay rates per job.
Mark Jasonowicz, founder of this new series, says the discussions exist to “make sure the students are on the right track to the career their thinking about” and “to help them graduate.”
The talk series will be held in the Business Computer Lab in Cook Hall, room 201. All discussions are an hour long. Check the schedule online for times and discussion leaders if you are interested http://www.grcc.edu/business/businesscafseriesandadvising
