The Grand Rapids Community College Board of Trustees will have a special meeting on Friday, Dec. 19, at 8:30 a.m., where they will review and weigh campus community feedback from the interview visits by the three presidential candidates.
Board members will then deliberate with the intention of selecting one to be the college’s 12th president. Once the new president is named and accepts the offer, the details of their contract will be worked out with Board approval of the contract, which is planned to be on January 6, 2026.
The special meeting will be held in the boardroom on the fifth floor of RJF Hall.
