On Wednesday, Oct. 14, Grand Rapids Community College’s Center for Counseling and Well-Being will be hosting a Cozy Crafts event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Raider Grill.

The event is designed for students to slow down and explore their creative side. Cozy Crafts will offer free comforting refreshments such as donuts and apple cider, as well as apples and tea.

“This is set up for students to work on crafts individually at their own pace but gathered with other students in the community,” stated Assistant Professor and Counselor Kelly Dillion.

There are also multiple crafts for students to choose from. You can embrace the season and make fall garlands, make your own fidget toy, or embrace your community by making friendship bracelets, or even decorating a lunch bag for Kids Food Basket.

Students will be able to decide if they’d like to work in groups or by themselves, giving everyone their own desired experience.
