Details: West Michigan’s best-known haunted attractions is back for it’s 13th year. Screams of terror make their way back on October 4 with over 20,000 square feet of rooms, scenes, mazes and terrifying creepers, including “Madness”, “3D Coulrophobia”, and the all new “Ghost Town” maze. Tickets range from $20 to $30 with discounts for groups available.

Klackle Orchards

Halloween at Ionia
Details: The first time event featuring the largest cash prize for best costume in the state at $6,000, heated tents, live DJs, games, haunting beverages, and more entice all at McFadden’s. Tickets are $10 in advance. The event is on Oct. 26, 2013.

The Famous Pumpkin Train
Details: Feast your eyes on The Great Pumpkin, as well as Scarecrow and Little Crow on the thrilling Coopersville & Marne Railway, while local actress Eva Swietec and her cast sing and dance during the approximately 1hr.15min. ride. At the end, each child may pick a pumpkin from the patch to take home with them. Admission is $15.50 adults, $14.50 seniors, and $13.50 for children.

Movies in the Park
Details: Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. continues its Movies in the Park series at Ah-Nab-Awen Park. The family-friendly film Hocus Pocus begins at dusk, followed by the Rocky Horror Picture Show for teens and adults. Admission to this event is free for all.
