GRCC hosts Manufacturing Career Day today

Grand Rapids Community College is hosting Manufacturing Career Day today from 1 to 5 p.m. at The Wisner Botrall Applied Technology Center.

The event, which is open to the public, will feature 40 different employers from around West Michigan. Faculty advisors will also be present during the event to talk to students interested in earning a degree or certificate in welding, plastics, quality science and much more. Ferris State University representatives will also be available to talk to students looking to transfer into an FSU program.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes to this business casual event.

 Attendees will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a $500 scholarship that will go toward next semester’s tuition.
