The Lake Michigan College mens basketball team defeated the Raiders 84-71 Monday night, handing them their first loss since Feb. 8. The last time these teams met this season, the Red Hawks came away with a 8875 victory.
DeMarkus Stuckey led the team with 23 points. Courtney Hill put up 14 and Miles Robinson added 10. GRCC went 15 of 23 from the free-throw line.
The leading scorer for the Red Hawks, Ken Coates, tacked on 19 of his own. Although Stuckey outperformed Coates, The Red Hawks players were stronger across the board. The Raiders only made 39 of their field goals while Lake Michigan College made 52%.
