Winter Beer Fest 2016 has begun in Grand Rapids. All week, local establishments are throwing special events, such as tap takeovers by various local breweries.
Beer Fest will end with the 11th Annual Winter Beer Festival at Fifth Third Ballpark. The festival is organized by the Michigan Brewers Guild. The event is currently sold out for Saturday but there are still tickets available for Friday. Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the gate, provided they are not sold out.

The 3rd Annual Blackrocks Beer Week Tap Night at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Big Bob’s Pizza.
B.A.D. Beer Fest from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Logan’s Alley.
