
The group of students instructed by Katie Vander Meer, Introduction to Computer Programming instructor at GRCC, were this year’s Armen award winners.
Their project promoted awareness of computer science and education to fifth graders at Orchard View elementary School, where they taught them computer programming.
Michael Schavey, Director of Experiential Learning at GRCC was pleased with the outcome of this year’s awards. .
“Having worked with faculty for over 12 years, I’m no longer amazed at what they can accomplish. This year’s Armen Awards proved again that our faculty are top notch. Armen Oumedian has been such a huge supporter of helping faculty become the best they can be. His continued support of this competition demonstrates his commitment to GRCC our faculty and students.”
