This weekend’s list of events includes the Rumsey Street Bazaar, Blitzen Trapper at the Pyramid Scheme, Summertime Madness at The Stache, and 80’s Night at the Berlin Raceway.
The Rumsey Street Bazaar will be held this Friday through Sunday at 333 Rumsey Street. The event begins each day at 11 a.m. and is free to the public during the daytime hours. Friday night will feature Brotherwolf and The Wolfpack From Mars, West Michigan’s premier David Bowie tribute band. Saturday night will feature The Rumsey Runway Event, a fashion show with the theme “Back to the Future.” Tickets are $10 for the Bowie show and $30 for the fashion show. The Pyramid Scheme will present the bands Blitzen Trapper and Quiet Life at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11. Blitzen Trapper is a experimental country/folk/rock band from Portland, Oregon. Ages 21 and up are welcome. Tickets are $15.
The Stache is presenting Morlock Records: Summertime Madness at 6 p.m. June 10. Performances include Epidemic, Prime Suspects, Bobby Knucklez and many more bands. The event is all ages. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of show.
The Berlin Raceway in Marne is hosting their own ‘80s night Saturday, June 11. Activities include a $250 prize for the best costume contest and live music from Trixie Tang from 3-4 p.m. DJ Gravy from HotFM will also be there. Tickets are available online and are $12 for adults and $5 for kids ages 8-11.
