Grand Rapids Community College students will now have a seamless path to Calvin College programs thanks to a new agreement signed between the institutions.
This is the first step in creating program-specific requirements for students planning to transfer to Calvin after GRCC. These will appear as academic programs in the GRCC catalog and will be eligible for financial aid.
“This agreement is a way to expand the invitation for more GRCC students to continue their academic exploration at Calvin,” said Calvin President Michael Le Roy in a press release. “We welcome them into Calvin’s mission and look forward to seeing the gifts they bring to our campus.”
GRCC President Steven Ender said institutional agreements save students time and money.
“In addition to strengthening our long-standing relationship with Calvin College, this agreement provides our students with the clear steps that they need to take to transfer to Calvin’s programs,” Ender said in a press release.
