The GRCC Players are bringing the romantic comedy “Somewhere in Between” to the Grand Rapids Community College Spectrum Theater, 160 Fountain St NE, beginning tonight.
“Somewhere in Between,” by Craig Pospisil, follows Jasper, a lonely man on his journey looking for love. He finds it in Holly, the clerk at a local bookstore. Their story is full of chance encounters and comedic shenanigans from when they first meet until the final curtain call.
David Dekens, 18, has the opportunity to play multiple characters in the show.
“I get to play man in elevator, Robert, lawyer, and man number two,” Dekens said. “The best part is getting to joke with the rest of the cast and crew”.
“Somewhere in Between” begins at 8 p.m. and goes through Dec. 3, with all shows beginning at that time. Tickets cost $10 for adults. Students with a valid ID are able to get in for $3.
Upcoming productions include “Facing Our Truth” and “A Further Education.” Tickets for “Somewhere in Between” as well all other GRCC productions are available in person at the box office, by calling (616) 234-3946, or you can find them online.
