Heather Tilma – The Collegiate Staff
Come out to spend a fun night listening to Jazz music!
This Fall Jazz Concert will be on Tue., Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Linn Maxwell Keller Recital Hall at the Albert P. Smith Music Center on Grand Rapids Community College Campus.
Tickets are on sale, $3 for students and 5 for adults.
The concert will be featuring the following people and groups:
- The Jazz Ensemble
The Jazz Ensemble is conducted by Professor Jared Staub, Director of Bands.
- The Heritage Hill Jazz Combo
It is conducted by a GRCC student, Griffin Going.
- Shades of Blue (Vocal Jazz Ensemble)
Shades of Blue is conducted by Jed Scott, an Adjunct Professor.
It will also be featuring some special guests including Edye Evans Hyde, a jazz vocalist. Accompanied by pianist Terry Lower.
All proceeds from concert will go towards the Ray Gill Instrumental Jazz Scholarship.
