Award-winning guitarist, Robert Gruca is performing as part of the Grand Rapids Community College International Guitar Series.
Gruca will be performing at the newly renovated Alpert P. Smith Music Building, Room 200 located on the GRCC campus. The performance is Thurs., March 15, at 7:30 p.m.
The solo performance will span over 300 years of music. The musical journey will include pieces from Renaissance, Baroque and the 20th Century periods.
This is a homecoming of sorts for the musician. Gruca is a Michigan native and received his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University.
One lucky ticket buyer will have the opportunity to win a Cordoba Classical Guitar. The door prize will be drawn at the end of the performance. You must purchase a ticket and be present to win.
Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for Students and Seniors. Tickets can be purchased thru the GRCC International Guitar Series website or at the door the evening of the performance.
