The Grand Rapids Community College Psychology Department will be hosting a psychology transfer fair Thurs. March. 15 on the first floor of the Stewart Edward White Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Western Michigan University, Grand Valley State University and the University of Michigan will be some of the many colleges on site to answer questions about their respective programs.
This transfer fair is not limited to Psychology majors but intended for students interested in psychology, social work, or gerontology,” said Dr. Kate Byerwalter, professor of Psychology at GRCC.
Schools will have a wide variety of faculty members, students and staff to share
“Information about coursework and opportunities, as well as their own experiences,” Byerwalter said.
This fair will offer students a good opportunity to learn about programs across the state and are encouraged to stop in. There is no sign-up required and students are free to drop in at any time. The GRCC Psychology Department can be found on the second floor of the Stewart Edward White Hall on the Devos Campus for any further questions.
