The Grand Rapids Community College Music Department annual Fall Honors Recital is today at 3:15 pm at the GRCC Albert P. Smith Music Center, Linn Maxwell Keller Recital Hall.

“All of the student performers have been nominated and recommended by the applied music faculty,” said Kevin Dobreff, Grand Rapids, GRCC Professor since 1991 and Music Department Program Director. “These students are setting the standard for performance in their applied area.”

This rectial is a chance for students to be able to display their work thus far this fall to their peers, professors, family and anyone wanting to attend. Admission is free.

Dobreff is excited for this fall’s selected students to be able to show off their talent and all the hard work they have put into the specific pieces they are performing.

“The applied faculty have chosen some very challenging repertoire for their students this semester and we expect the performance to be at a very high level,” Dobreff said.
