Grand Rapids Community College is hosting an annual Exam Cram this week including free snacks and a craft workshop.
GRCC Library and Learning Commons will be offering individual and group study spaces, waived library book fines, and extended hours from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Jennifer Ackerman-Haywood, an adjunct journalism professor and handmade business owner, will be holding a free Craftsanity workshop Wednesday, Dec. 4, 11a.m -1 p.m.
Ackerman-Haywood will be teaching English paper piecing techniques that can be used to create patches, soft jewelry and full-sized quilts.
Free snacks will also be offered to students all week.
Exam Cram will continue from today until Sunday, Dec. 8.
