Grand Rapids Community College is set to hold a Grab & Go breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 15 on the main downtown campus. This allows students to be well fed before class and is also a nice easy stop in a part of a student’s day.
This event will be from 9 a.m to 11 a.m. It will be held at the Raleigh J. Finkelstein Hall located across from the Bostwick Parking Ramp.
This event is part of Homecoming Week here at Grand Rapids Community College. Student Alliance President Brendan Burke stated that, ”This took a couple of months to plan.”
It can help students who have a busy schedule and provide them with an easy meal. For any students who have a spare moment, this is a great opportunity to indulge in and to see the options available on campus.
The menu options are still to be announced but there will be a variety of healthy options available for students to choose from. There will be a sign of the options and staff will be able to package the food for easy transportation.
“This event happened a few years ago before (the COVID-19 pandemic) and we had a great outcome with over 300 people,” Burke said about the event.
With COVID-19 raging on, the event turnout might not be the same as when this event was previously held, but Burke is optimistic.
“RJF is a busy area on campus for students and staff,” Burke said.
