The Collegiate, Grand Rapids Community College’s student publication, won 12 awards – including four first place finishes – in the college division of the 2022 Michigan Press Association Better Newspaper Contest.
The awards were announced March 16 with GRCC performing well in several categories. The winning entries are listed below.
Each entry scores points based on placement with first placements receiving 100 points, second getting 70, and third placements earning 40. If you’d like to see all of the results, visit the college contest winners page of the MPA website.
