The College Success center is inviting students to fill out a Clifton Strength assessment to identify their personal strengths and how to utilize them in academic and professional settings.

“Students can expect to learn how their unique strengths show up throughout life,” said Travis Steffens, a success coach from the center. “The main take away that I would like for students to gain is an understanding of how to leverage their individual and unique strengths to fulfill personal, professional, and academic goals.”

There were three sessions scheduled and all require registration to attend. The first session was scheduled at the Main Grand Rapids Community College campus on the third floor of the Student Center on Wednesday, March 15 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. All sessions require registration to attend.

On Wednesday, March 22 students from the Lakeshore campus will also have the chance to participate in the assessment in room 122 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. To register for this session click here

Finally on Monday, March 27 at 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. students can join the session virtually by following  this registration link. The assessment fee will be waived for students who register for the events.

Because strengths are unique to the individual, this is a great topic to meet with your success coach about to explore further,” Steffens said. “If a student does not have a success coach and attends one of these workshops, I am happy to meet with them to delve further into how they can benefit from and leverage their unique strengths.”
