Grand Rapids Community College has a slew of fun events going on from now until Friday, April 21. The Campus Activities Board has a great lineup of events for students this week, following last week’s pool party.
CAB members set up in the Ford Fieldhouse with free items at the check-in. They provided pool floaties, volleyball for students to play, and complimentary snacks.
Turnout was lost so most of the students swam together and played games in the pool, with those in attendance all appearing to have fun.
Two students, film and media major Sam Vandenbroek and Sophia Marlin, a general education student, spoke on attending other CAB Events.
After asking Vandenbroek about why he comes to these activities, Vandenbroek said “I enjoy them pretty well. The main reason I came was to meet someone new (and) make some new friends.”
When asked about how they find out about CAB events like the pool party, Marlin said “(I) Check out the TVs and the bulletin boards, that’s how I figure out stuff.”
In regards to other finals sponsored events, The Collegiate posted a story linked here on a whole group of them earlier this month if you’d like to check them out. Other events can be found on Raider Connect.
