Want something to do before the semester is over? Student Life, the Campus Activities Board, and other groups have some events planned for students to take their minds off the stress of finals.
All events have links to their Raider Connect pages to RSVP. Please let them know if you can show up in advance.
Starting on the Lakeshore Campus, the College Success Center is hosting their Oh, What a Semester! Party at the Lakeshore Campus in room 121 on Tuesday, April 11 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be food and activities like cake decorating available to those who attend.
The Success Center will be bringing in the same event for the main campus students on Wednesday, April 12 also from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The second event will be held in the Student Center in common area 301 on the third floor.
Free Pizza is being provided for a Finals Relaxer by the GRCC Veterans Center and is available to all students. They’ll be bringing the pizza on April 12 to room 002 on floor G2 in RJF, and will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
CAB has a series of events that can be found on their Instagram page, with some events being posted there and not having much information released at this time.
The first CAB activity is an 18+ pool party for students on Thursday, April 13. It’s being held at the pool at the Ford Fieldhouse at 3 p.m. and will be going until 6 p.m. Please bring a towel and your RaiderCard to sign in.
Also on April 13, students can make fun, tie-dye apparel with Student Life in the Student Life Hub at the Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Heading back to the Lakeshore Campus, on Thursday April 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. students can make collage keychains at the Lakeshore Campus Atrium.
Free tickets to see “The Super Mario Bros Movie’ at Studio Park are available to students who RSVP before they run out. CAB will be hosting the viewing on April 20 at 5 p.m. Food will also be provided.
If you’d like to see a different event in the future, CAB will be hosting a general meeting on Friday April 21 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Bring fellow students and your ideas on what else CAB could do in the future.
