I feel like the Taylor Swift craze is a little out of control. From Swifties packing venues at The Eras Tour and swarming around the new Eras Tour movie to Taylor Swift allegedly dating National Football League (NFL) player and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, even attending one of Kelce’s games against the Chicago Bears.
The Paparazzi have gone to a new level as some Swift fans alongside the media are watching Swift’s every move, following her to big events like Sunday’s NFL game in Kansas City.
Don’t get me wrong, I think Swift is a great songwriter, role model, and one of the most popular celebrities out there. The Era’s Tour itself brought together so many fans who love her music, and her musical style, and who see her as a role model. I just think there is just too much excitement over the fact that she is supposedly dating an NFL player. Give them space!
To all Swift fans, I support you! Just don’t start tracking down your favorite musical star like fans did; huddling together outside the Shinola Hotel back alley way while Swift was on her way to her Era’s Tour concert at Ford Field in Detroit.
There are rumors that she had to be hidden in a popcorn machine at Arrowhead Stadium during the NFL game. This, in similarity, can be traced to fans tracking Justin Bieber to his apartment, requesting a hug.
Fame is both an amazing experience and a dangerous one. Like Swift, many other celebrities have been tracked down, followed, and have had valuable belongings stolen from their houses, apartments, or cars. For example, a Kansas City Missouri restaurant had to be cleared out so Kelce, and Swift and the Chiefs could all enjoy a meal together.
I’d say let the couple be and let them enjoy their relationship while they are not intentionally trying to be in the spotlight.
