The Grand Rapids Community College Campus Activities Board is here to make sure this homecoming is something special.
On Thursday, Oct. 10, CAB will have a bouquet making event from 4 – 6 p.m. in the Student Life Hub.
“After the success of last year’s bouquet making event we are happy to bring it back. The event is a great way to show your GRCC pride with our school color flowers,” said CAB Secretary Amelia Haywood.
There will also be food at the homecoming tailgate at 4 p.m. which will happen on the first floor of the Student Center. The homecoming “pink out” volleyball game will also be on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. against Montcalm Community College.
But wait, there’s more. On Friday, Oct. 11 there will be the homecoming dance,” said Haywood. “There will be free food, a chocolate fountain, music and tons of fun!”
The dance is free to enter. All you have to do is RSVP if you’re interested. The form can be found on the GRCC Instagram and Raider Connect.
Lastly, according to Haywood, “CAB is also always looking for volunteers to help run our events. Fill out our volunteer form in our Instagram bio if you’d like to learn more.”
