On Tuesday, March 31, Grand Rapids Community College’s Center for Counseling and Well-Being will be hosting an event called “Say What? Handling Conflict Without Losing Your Cool.”

Students will have the opportunity to learn how to communicate their needs clearly and learn how to respond in tough situations with confidence.

“Students can expect to learn about emotional intelligence, what it is and how it applies to our daily life and functioning,” Loanna Abreu, Assistant Professor/Counselor.

You do not need to RSVP for the event.

“We have a basket of assorted snacks available for students that attend,” said Sandy Gregory, the Office Manager for the Center for Counseling and Well-Being.

Students who attend will be able to learn and apply their new understanding of emotional intelligence and conflict resolution tactics to their lives.

This workshop will take place on the second floor of the Student Center in room 205, within the Raider Grill from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
