If you are still filled with comic book fueled excitement from the recent “Avengers Infinity War” release, then take note. Saturday morning (May 5) kicks off National Free Comic Book Day. Not only are select local Grand Rapids Comic shops offering an assortment of free comic issues, Grand Rapids Comic-Con is offering six promotional drawings to win two VIP Grand Rapids Comic-Con passes.
Grand Rapids Comic-Con is scheduled for Nov. 9-11 at the DeVos Performance Hall. To enter the contest, participants must visit one of the select stores and sign up at the promotional table. Each customer is allowed one entry per store they visit, and there is no cost of entry. The contest will end with a random drawing, selecting one name from each store location. Tickets will be mailed shortly after. Each promotional booth is scheduled to close at 5 p.m. unless scheduled otherwise.
