The GRCC men’s basketball team lost their past two home games, but bounced back with 105-72 win on Saturday against Lansing Community College Stars.
The Raiders had five players with double digit scoring. Micah Gates led the team with a double-double finishing with 18 points, 18 rebounds, and seven assists, only three shy from a triple double.
Alex Lyle led the team in scoring with 29 points.
The raiders shot 75 percent from the field on route to the win and part of the high percentage was the play of the bench outscoring the Stars, 35-14.
In his first season as head coach T.J. Carnegie has the Raiders sitting in second place in the conference looking to make a late season push.
The Raiders currently hold an 11-7 overall record and are 6-2 in conference play.
The next game is home at the Ford Fieldhouse on Wednesday against Lake Michigan CC. Tip-off is at 7:30 P.M.
