What was his inspiration for the piece?
He has spent much of his life working with different types of music education. He has been preforming for Top of the Park Place Hotel since 2001.
What was the hardest part about creating his entry?
Cutting the old oxygen tanks in order to tune them to the correct note that each bell is supposed to ring.
How are people responding to his artwork?
Everyone is coming up to the bells and playing them. It does not matter what age the visitors are, everyone is enjoying his sculpture and what they can do with it.
What would he do with the money if he won?
He would make more pieces similar to what he made for ArtPrize this year, and focus on making more pieces that help promote music education.
