Are you looking to upgrade your closet or have clothes you would like to donate? Find a gift for the upcoming holiday season at GRCC’s clothing swap.

GRCC Capstone Honors Students Missy Ghenorghiu and Kim Budde are hosting a clothing swap on Monday, Nov. 21, in the Ford Fieldhouse South Court from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Donations can be brought to room 213 in the Ford Fieldhouse on Nov 18 from 8 a.m. – noon and 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Or before the swap on Nov. 21.

The clothing swap is open to students, staff, faculty, and the public. The event is a safe place for the LGBTQ+ community. Snacks will be provided for attendees. Donations are not required to participate in the swap. Unclaimed clothes will be donated to Mel Trotter Ministries, a local organization that helps fight poverty.

Clothing swaps are a great way to add to your closet without hurting your wallet or adding waste to landfills. Donate what you can and take what you would like.
