Grand Rapids Community College’s Criminal Justice Department will be hosting the Law Enforcement Career and Internship Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 9, in the Sneden Hall, room 108.
“This is an opportunity to learn the many and wide variety of opportunities within local West Michigan Police Departments,” said David Kok, Police and Corrections Academy Director. The event is said to consist of, “approximately 18 city police and county sheriff agencies with information booths.”
Students have the chance to learn more about full-time police careers and part-time cadets and internship positions. In addition to meeting members of police agencies, students will be able to discuss opportunities, wages and benefits. This event is hosted annually in the fall and doesn’t require students to register in order to attend.
