Grand Rapids Community College will hold a Career Showcase today and tomorrow in the Meijer Center for Business Studies located on the Main Building’s second floor. The college’s business department is running the event, and wants to assist students as they look at potential jobs.
The event will offer advice on the career fields of interior design, accounting, marketing, management and supervision, and business and office administration. Students will learn about what GRCC can offer in these areas, as well as what they can do after their time is done here. The event will also cover what jobs exist in these fields.
“We organize this event to help our business students understand and appreciate the various careers that are available to them if they complete their program at GRCC,” said Felix Pereiro, the chairman of the business department, in a press release.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. today and tomorrow. Students are asked to direct any prior questions to the business department, which can be reached at (616) 234-4220.
